Job Responsibilities:

SAFETY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT AND QUALITY:

• Ensure SHEQ compliance within the Team through effective use of the Toolbox
• Utilise the Information Management System (IMS) to initiate, investigate and report SHEQ status.

PEOPLE:

• Participate as a team member in the processing area
• Relieve the Supervisor as and when required as a 2.9.2 appointee.

CUSTOMERS:

• Ensure Customer Satisfaction

BUSINESS PROCESSES:

• Controls and co-ordinates process activities to achieve optimum production throughput, process efficiency, and product quality and production information integrity.
• Continuously monitor production information to determine adherence to production targets and to monitor process efficiencies
• Co-ordinate the implementation of process changes to ensure the attainment of production targets and to ensure optimum process efficiencies
• Evaluate processes or systems or products or new developments to identify opportunities and deficiencies to ensure continuous improvement.
• Assists with the commissioning of third-party major plant or equipment modifications and or upgrades.
• Assist with the implementation of new technology without unplanned production interruption according to project schedules
• Assist with the evaluation of process risks to reduce unplanned production stoppages.
• Assist with Opencast stock recons.
